about

DOLMENN is a band which is characterized by the fusion of different musical influences from Stoner, Doom and Metal genres. Lots of bands are a reference for us and this mixture finally bring us to elaborate these songs with this characteristic style that differentiate us. DOLMENN’s project starts in late 2010 when Filippo (guitar and vocals) and Aitor (bass) start playing together. Immediately they started looking for new members that complete the line-up. The starts band starts taking shape in late 2011 with Carles (guitar) and Hugo (drums). After debuting in early 2012 and recruiting David on drums the band consolidates the current line-up in early 2013. With 9 songs already composed we decided recording these songs in June 2013 while continuing gigging with several local and international bands such as Jucifer (US), The Socks (FR), Mother of God (SE), Mushroom Caravan Overdrive (SE), etc. In January 2014, after a long and hard study work, our first self-produced EP “ I “ was issued. From the EP premiere on, DOLMENN hasn’t stopped gigging and gigging.

Influenced by “sabbathic” metal, stoner and doom, Dolmenn's sound reminds those prehistoric dolmens, hard and heavy, which were used by pagans to worship Gods. ... more
